This year's SRC executive committee elections at the Ghana Institute Of Journalism appears to be on a different level as industry players take to social media to endorse some candidates, the latest is that from Award Winning Television and Radio Personality John Mensah Foley on SRC Presidential Candidate Fauzu Masawudu. The Business Manager of Fiesta On DSTV posted the above mentioned Presidential Candidate's official campaign artwork on Facebook with caption "Let's go for gold I fully endorse Fauzu Masawudu for SRC PRESIDENT of GIJ.Encouraging all eligible voters to support" Fauzu Masawudu has served as Vice President for Jay Foley's founded youth network 2131 where he led and champion several developmental projects including the Energy Conservation Project,2131 Girl Child Project among others. This year's elections is slated for Friday 26th October 2019 and 27th of same month and has six Candidates contesting for the Presidency where Fauzu Masawudu is placed 6 on the ballot paper.Â
