St.Lwanga in the Ashanti Region on Saturday 13th July,2019 emerged Ultimate Winners at the Maiden Edition of the Techbooth Challenge that took place at the University of Ghana Business School. The basic school which entered the competition with an artificial intelligence Project beat over 20 other contenders including senior high schools to win the ultimate. As part of their winning package they walked home with a cash prize of five thousand Ghana cedis,a month IT training with a top firm in India and an opportunity to intern with Techbooth Ghana igniters of the challenge. Speaking in a brief address preceding the presentation of awards,the Chief Executive officer of Techbooth Ghana Sedem Afetornu expressed great joy and excitement over the school's laurel especially because they are a basic school yet entered the competition with a mind blowing project,one which he has struggled for years to get well versed at. The Techbooth Challenge formed part of the 2019 National High School Entrepreneurship Competition to create room for schools and Individuals to develop projects that are Information Technology(IT) related while solving a particular problem in society.Â
